Perrywood Garden Centre and Nurseries, Tiptree, Essex is delighted to have raised over £5,000 for St Helena Hospice over the past year.

Cheque presented to Chloe WinterA cheque for £5,038.62 was presented to Chloe Winter from St Helena Hospice by some of the 'charity champions' at Perrywood Garden Centre including Zoe Willis, who personally raised £1,400 by running the Chester marathon in memory of her grandmother who was looked after at the hospice.

The money was raised through a range of events including collections in-store, upcycling vintage containers, the raffle and photo booth at the staff summer party, donations from gardening club tours at Perrywood, the Christmas shopping evening and jumper day. Several staff also participated in sponsored events throughout the year, including the Sandman, Bubble Rush and Chester Marathon. For these events, Perrywood matched the amount raised by the individual.
