Megarrys was founded in 1994. It is an Antique shop and Teashop housed in the historic Jericho cottage, situated on the edge of the Duckpond Green in the village of Blackmore in Essex.
We are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year from 10am to 5pm.
Our official closed days are Monday and Tuesday; however as we live on the premises, it's worth giving us a call, ringing the front door bell or the bell on the side gate. If we're in we'll let you in! We seldom turn thirsty customers away, and will open the Antiques Shop on request, unless we have a pressing prior engagement.
You can find us at Jericho Cottage, in Bull Alley (Google refers to it as Blacksmiths Alley), at the rear of the Duckpond Green, behind the Bull Public House Garden.
Featured on more than one occasion on BBC Two’s Antiques Road Trip, this apparently tiny shop is in fact rather like Dr Who's Tardis. A walk through is lined with display cabinets filled with small antiques, collectables and jewellery.
