Mersea Island Cookery School - East Mersea

The Mersea Island Cookery School in East Mersea is a cookery school that focuses in on fun, interactive and hands-on cooking. The school itself is a beautifully traditional Essex barn and is situated just next to the Blackwater Estuary. It is run by successful chefs from some of the UK's busiest restaurants and each and every class offers the attendees a fun, friendly and informal environment in which to learn. The Mistley Kitchen - Mistley

The Mistley Kitchen in Mistley is one of Essex's most well-known, and most revered, cooking schools. What's perhaps most notable about this school is that it attracts both the seriously skilled, advanced cooks, as well as complete beginners. And many who attend these courses note the informal atmosphere that makes creating culinary dishes within the classes so enjoyable. Classes here include: Pasta Masterclass, Pizza from a wood fired oven, Quick and Easy Thai Cooking, Moroccan Masterclass with Paul Bough and Tapas, Sangria and Paella.

 

Cookywooky Workshop - Rayleigh

The Cookywooky Workshop is a fun focused school that provides cookery classes of many varieties as well as hosting birthday parties and the fun friendly classes of cake and biscuit decorating. There are also half term and holiday clubs for mini cooks aged 2 and upwards. Beyond cooking there's also craft workshops to look forward to. The school aims to be fun and engaging for people of all ages, as well as being affordable and undertaken with a focus on a homely environment where students can feel completely relaxed.
