Nature activities for all the family and the Gardens in lovely spring colours. The Gardens are open 11am to 5pm, last entry 4pm. Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance or £7.50 on the gate. Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.

Nature activities will include pond dipping, owl pellet dissection and more. The blousy peonies are a delight, together with the first roses and the wildflower spiral starting to bloom. The herb bed is covered in flower attracting the bees and early butterflies.

Local musicians, Woodwind of Stortford, will play an eclectic range of pieces from marches to classic film and popular songs.

Nature and craft stalls. Our Archivists will display information about the Countess of Warwick’s love of nature and conservation and her work with WH Hudson, naturalist and ornithologist.

Bacon/sausage rolls from Giggly Pig and catering from the Trust’s kiosk: cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
