Perrywood Tiptree recently donated and delivered trees to local schools and charities to support The Queen’s Green Canopy, a tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this year.
Above are just some of the fantastic photos from the schools and charities who took part.
Everyone from individuals to community groups, villages and schools across the UK were encouraged to take part to enhance the environment by planting trees. Every tree planted brings benefits for people, wildlife and climate, now and for the future.
Debbie Wrigley, Communications Manager at Perrywood comments: “Supporting our local community is very important to us at Perrywood, as is protecting and enhancing the environment. We are delighted to see everyone getting involved with ‘plant a tree for the Jubilee’, an incredible tree-planting project in celebration of the Queen’s 70 years of Service to the Nation.”
