Essex Fire Museum was established in 2007 and houses many Fire Service artefacts and vehicles from the 1700's onwards. The museum if free entry but visits must be pre-booked as we are on the site of a work fire station (Grays Stn).

We are open every Tuesday and Thursday and occasional weekend days (please see our website for further details): www.essex-fire.gov.uk/Fire_museum. On site we have museum trails, a fire safety / hazard spotting room, and a vintage Dennis Fire Engine to look inside. On weekend open days we are also able to run arts and crafts activities, set up a toy / play area, and squirt water with the public.

If you would like to visit, please contact us.
Established: 2007
