The Garden Centre Association (GCA) Conference, held in Lancashire, saw Perrywood named 3rd in the Top 100 UK Garden Centre League Table, making it one of only ten ‘Garden Centres of Excellence’ in the whole of the UK - and the best in the South of England.
Over the last two years, Perrywood Tiptree and Perrywood Sudbury have raised a grand total of £45,000 for local charities, schools and community projects.
On Wednesday 14th December 2022, Perrywood Garden Centre in Tiptree gifted charity Abberton Rural Training seasonal planted baskets as a small thank you to each of the 20 volunteers who kindly give up their time to support this important charity.

Perrywood Tiptree held a charity tea party on Wednesday 10th August with all proceeds donated to Abberton Rural Training. An incredible £1350 was raised from ticket and raffle sales.
The Colchester Garden Festival launched on Thursday 21st July and will run until Monday 22nd August. The event is organised by Our Colchester Business Improvement District (BID) and celebrates the environment, green spaces, and gardening. There is a mixture of show stopping installations including pop-up pallet gardens, upcycled planters, and shop front murals. Free and paid events, including workshops, public installations, podcast recordings and shows are also going on in town.
On Wednesday, 20th July, Perrywood Garden Centres won the majority of awards at the Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Thames Regional Awards and walked away with both top accolades.
After hearing about the red weather warning, family owners at Perrywood Garden Centre made the decision to close their doors early on Monday and Tuesday of this week, to allow their team to escape the heat. The Directors advised employees that everyone will be paid for the hours they would normally work.

Wyvernwood is a unique adventure park, set in more than 20 acres in Alresford near Colchester. It provides families with children aged 2-12 with a magical day out, a digital detox and an opportunity to connect with nature while exploring the adventure park.
