On Wednesday, 20^th July, Perrywood Garden Centres won the majority of awards at the Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Thames Regional Awards and walked away with both top accolades.

After hearing about the red weather warning, family owners at Perrywood Garden Centre made the decision to close their doors early on Monday and Tuesday of this week, to allow their team to escape the heat. The Directors advised employees that everyone will be paid for the hours they would normally work.

The Enchanted Lost Kingdom of Wyvernwood, the UK’s newest visitor attraction, will be opening its Magic Portal to visitors on Friday 15 July.

Wyvernwood is a unique adventure park, set in more than 20 acres in Alresford near Colchester. It provides families with children aged 2-12 with a magical day out, a digital detox and an opportunity to connect with nature while exploring the adventure park.

Perrywood Tiptree and Sudbury are celebrating after winning the East & East Anglia Family Business Award at this year’s Family Business of the Year Awards held on Thursday 23^rd June.

The Coffee Shop & Restaurant team at Perrywood Tiptree are delighted to have raised £7,000 to purchase an ultrasound machine for the Emergency Assessment Unit at Colchester Hospital. A total of £5,750 was collected in tips by the team (every year, the team very kindly donate all their tips to charity) and £1,250 was kindly donated by Mr Kenworthy, in memory of his wife.

Perrywood Tiptree recently donated and delivered trees to local schools and charities to support The Queen’s Green Canopy, a tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this year.

Perrywood Garden Centre have chosen 'Plant Hope' as their in store theme this year. They recognise that we are all becoming much more conscious of the importance of protecting our environment, and aim to help customers find little ways to shop and garden more sustainably to help change for a better future.

Renowned as being one of the largest brick built structures in England, Chappel Viaduct is situated near Wakes Colne in Essex off the A1124 (Colchester Road) and spans the picturesque Colne Valley. It presently still supports the Sudbury to Marks Tey line which regularly connects with trains to and from London's Liverpool Street Station along the main line.
